While we live in a technology-fueled era, we can’t deny that society still thrives upon artistic expression to uplift our spirit. We meet Zhang Xiaodong, an artist who’s successfully resurrected and improved China’s century-old art of dragon scale bookbinding. His hand-made books have been exhibited around the world, including the 6th CODEX Book Fair and Symposium in California.
